Oppo N3 unboxing_2
Oppo has launched two new device about a month ago, Oppo N3 and Oppo R5. The N3 is Oppo’s newest flagship handset and it has some specific features, as its predecessor, Oppo N1, had. The most distinctive feature of this handset is most definitely the auto-rotating electric camera on the top of this handset. We’re talking about a 16-megapixel shooter which is rather bulky, but it makes it possible to shoot amazing selfies and you can rotate that thing any way you see fit in order to get the best angles when taking a picture. Aside from that camera, VOOC rapid charging is also something worth mentioning. This technology lets you charge the Oppo N3’s 3000mAh battery from 0 to 75% in just 30 minutes, which is commendable at the very least.
Anyhow, this handset will go on sale tomorrow and people in China have been pre-ordering it like crazy since it became available for pre-order on November 11th. Oppo N3 is available for pre-order through Oppo’s official Chinese webpage or via Jingdong Mall and will cost you 3999 Yuan ($653), which is a lot of cash, but it seems like people don’t care and are willing to splash out that amount of money in order to get Oppo’s newest and great smartphone out there. Chinese portal My Drivers got their hands on the device and unboxed it. If you’d like to check it out, there are a lot of images included in the gallery below this article. You can get a good grasp of what the device looks like and the content of the box itself, we’re talking about a Chinese version of the device here, of course, Oppo still didn’t release any information when it comes to international availability.
Oppo N3 comes sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32GB of expandable internal storage. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. Oppo N3 ships with the aforementioned motorized rotation camera on the top of the device which sports a 16-megapixel sensor on the inside. Oppo N3 comes with a 3000mAh battery and Android 4.4 comes pre-installed on the device with Oppo’s ColorOS 2.0 on top of it. This handset also features 4G LTE connectivity of course and it measures 161.2 x 77 x 9.9mm while it weighs 192 grams.
